So pleased to share that our project, Grubbify, won first place!Β

Grubbify was was inspired by the shared struggle many college students face: groceries expiring in the fridge because weβre too busy, too tired, or simply unsure what to cook. Itβs frustrating, itβs expensive, and it leads to unnecessary food waste. We wanted to build something that helps students actually use what they already have.
Grubbify is an AI-powered cooking assistant that allows students to snap photos or upload images of their fridges and grocery hauls to detect what ingredients they have, track quantities and estimated expiration dates, and generate recipes based on those ingredients. It helps students plan meals efficiently and make better use of their food.
