I started to practice Kathak at the age of six, attending a dance gurukul, or academy, close to my home in Mumbai. Despite moving across the globe, Indian classical dance is something I have treasured and continued to pursue. It has connected me back to my culture and heritage. I find solace in its movement and grace.
